I found a majority of my information from the internet.
This in formation inculuded a list of woolstons conducters from the very beggining of the band to now and some interveiws and reveiws.
at first i had trouble finding information due to the size of the band compared to other events etc. But i found enough information to now present facts supporting my key ideas.
I am presenting my information in a song because it seemed fitting to the subject and it was the best way i could see to get the information across.
My song is a blues entry which picks up to a more rock feel at the chorus. the lyrics tell the story of the bands progression to where it is now which in turn explains the other key ideas like how they have affected christchurch.
Research has been the main set back in terms of there being very little information but it came down to being very creative with searching eg: instead of looking for information directly about woolston band looking for brass bands in general and searching inside sites for referances to woolston.
Once i found the information it was easy to get my key ideas as the information was very specific like a list of conductors and what they did Before during and after woolston band
Next time i would find a slightly less specific topic that has more information avalible.
